About Me

Living in Northwestern New Jersey, where life is at it's rural best, I have the perfect setting to inspire my 'photographic' senses. And when I say photography - yes it's still 35mm. I'm one of the hold backs that hasn't felt any urge to go "digital" yet. I still feel that the quality of the enlarged photographs from either my 35mm Nikon FM or Nikon F100 are superior in clarity, density of color and longevity.

My photographs capture the beauty of details that are offered by nature but are often overlooked in the headlong rush that engulfs us all. To present a photograph on it's own is not enough, I strive to present the photograph as artistically as possible and spend hours to find the perfect matting and frame that will set the photograph off to it's best advantage. The selection of the right conbination is a very physical sensation, and I'll play with different colors and textures of mats and frames for each piece until it feels right. It is this attention to detail and quality, and by using archival acid-free mats and high quality hardwood frames, that turns my photographs into unique pieces of fine art.
